Seeking Genuine Discounts for flood Victims

Over 50% of Australia’s flooded businesses and residents are expected to be denied the ability to claim on their insurance, and will require extraordinary support from their community to rebuild their homes and businesses. And even those with insurance face the enormous task of rebuilding their lives with huge financial impact.

We have set up this website to link retailers and service providers who want to offer discounted products and services with flooded businesses and residents who need to purchase them.

Terms and Conditions

To obtain a discount from a service provider or retailer, you must present proof that your home or business address has been affected by flood damage by showing either a form 2 or invoice from an electrical contractor for flood damage repairs along with photo ID. If you rent you can get a copy from your landlord.

Other proof of flood damage or circumstances can be accepted at a retailer's discretion, if you are unsure, then please contact them. We all do desire to help those who have been genuinely affected! Discounts may be subject to terms, conditions and limitations from individual retailers and service providers, discounts are provided at their discretion.

Retailers and suppliers of services are encouraged to register "special discounts" for flood victims who can produce either a form 2 or invoice from an electrical contractor for flood damage repairs along with photo ID. Other proof of flood damage or circumstances can be accepted at a retailer's discretion. You can specify additional terms on individual offers as appropriate.

Discounts are to be offered over a six month period ending 1 July 2011, and will provide support for those who have been significantly impacted and need help. To register your support complete the registration form, and we will keenly publicise your company’s offering through social media, PR and free community advertorial.
